It’s now June and we all know what that means — Rainbow virtue signaling everywhere.
A lot of conservatives are tired of the constant demand to publicly show support for LGBTQ+ that begins every June 1 and carries on with various days throughout the year.
I get that there was a point in recent memory when people were discriminated against and treated horribly because of their sexual orientation, but that isn’t where we are anymore. Western democracies in 2026 have embraced the Rainbow. That doesn’t mean that we all have to celebrate it.
Look, people are gonna do what they’re gonna do. Sinners are gonna sin in a variety of ways. That doesn’t mean that businesses should be giving incentives to employees to celebrate behavior that they believe violates God’s Word.
It’s a matter of conscience. Many of us have gay family members that we dearly love and we show God’s love to them through our actions.
Pastor Jerry Dorris of Reformation Church in Shelbyville, Kentucky posted a video created by one of the members of his church responding to a Pride campaign from his employer.
The church member’s name was bleeped out and his face blurred in the posted video that is racking up tens of thousands of views.
“A member of Reformation Church submitted this video to his employer’s ‘What PRIDE means to me’ campaign. Corporate wanted public clips to signal support for LGBTQ,” wrote Pastor Dorris. “After his submission, the whole program vanished. Videos pulled. Prizes canceled. No reply. That is Christian witness. Christ is King!”
In the video, the church member calmly states his objection to his employer’s Pride campaign.

Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well today. My name is ********** and I wanted to share just a few thoughts regarding Pride Month. Before I share, I do want to acknowledge that I understand that my viewpoint is not popular with many. However, it is important for companies to know that their employees have a diverse range of views and beliefs on these types of things, and that companies should seek to be neutral on these matters.
So, what does pride mean for me? As a Bible-believing Christian, I believe that pride is not a virtue to be celebrated, but rather it is a sin to be turned away from. Pride is exalting oneself above God and others. Pride says, “I am great and worthy to rule my own life” and pride is condemned by the Bible. James 4:6 says that “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Another verse, Proverbs 16:18 says that “pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before stumbling.” When we celebrate pride as a nation, we are essentially saying that we are greater than God and His Word, and that we are free to be and do whatever we want, specifically in the area of gender and sexuality. This is the essence of foolishness and a recipe for disaster. We should not be celebrating things that are displeasing to God and destructive to people and our society.
So what should we do this month? Well the answer is that we should be humbling ourselves. Humility, unlike pride, is a virtue, and it means having a right view of who God is and who we are, and submitting to God’s authority in every area of life, including relationships, marriage, gender, and sexuality. Humility includes the acknowledgement that we are sinners in need of a Savior.
I have beloved family members who are part of the LGBT community, so this is a very personal issue for me. And I can tell you that for these family members of mine, this life that they have chosen has not been healthy or wholesome, and it has not provided them with true joy or happiness. My prayer for them and for anyone who has caught up in this movement is that they would find true hope and peace through humble submission to Jesus Christ. This is not a time to celebrate, but rather to mourn and be humbled. For those who do, there is hope. As Jesus said in his well-known Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied,” Matthew 5:3-6. That really is how you do it — calmly explain why celebrating “Pride” is antithetical to what a Christian believes is true about virtue and vice, and a corporation asking employees to submit videos in support of it shows that their religious convictions haven’t even been considered. The best option for a corporation is to stay neutral. That’s it. That’s the message.
