On Juneteenth a pro-gay group used the new holiday to steal the Civil Rights movement for its own, angering blacks who now say it is cultural appropriation.
On Monday, Human Rights Campaign used the holiday to run cover for the gays.
“To honor #Juneteenth is to recognize the intersectionality between LGBTQ+ equality and racial justice,” the group said.
“True Black liberation continues to be challenged today by systemic racism and oppression. Our fight for equality is synonymous with the fight for Black freedom,” they added.

But blacks were not even a little bit happy with the tweet that shoehorned the gays into the Civil Rights movement.
“Right… because as my ancestors were toiling away on fields and dreaming of freedom, the prominent thought in their minds were ‘that whip might hurt, but it doesn’t hurt anywhere as badly as LGBTQ+ oppression,'” Zeek Arkham tweeted back at HRC. “Y’all had nothing else to tweet about today, huh?” he blasted.

“For all the talk about ‘colonizers’, I have never seen a political movement representing so few people be so successful at extracting the resources (eg., history, imagery, rhetoric) from other movements and using them for their own purposes,” tweeted Delano Squires.

“Critical Theory on display. Everything ties back to pushing Marxism. The issue is not the issue. Minorities are just pawns in this cynical agenda to take over the U.S. government and forcibly install a socialist government,” Kyle Becker said laying HRC’s real agenda bare

Many others agreed:
Please stop hijacking the black American experience to prop up your nonsense.

How dare you try to hijack a black holiday. This is for the African-American community. It’s not about LGBTQ. You guys try to make everything about yourself. This is full on racism. I hope the black community stands up and sharply comes out against you for this.

Whenever people attempt to conflate two unrelated things like this that means the ideology is more important than either of the two things.
Black people stay away from stuff like this.

The fact is, so-called “gay rights” has nothing whatever to do with the Civil Rights movement. And it is insulting to conflate the two.
