We already know that Donald Trump is running for a second term since he announced in Nov., but he won’t be the only one to launch a campaign for thee White House. Here are some of the others who seem likely to challenge the former president for the GOP nomination.
Ron DeSantis
Florida’s Republican governor is arguably the single most popular Republican in the country. He has faced down the radical left time and again. He thumbed his nose at the COVIDiot lunatics, the abortion fanatics, and the anti-American, so-called “educators” who are grooming our children for rapists.
One of the signs that he is considering a run for the White House is that he is publishing a book a little later this year. That is often a first step for a bid for national office.
Book or no, he is the single most well-known Republican in the country, right now. Striking while the iron is hot is usually a good decision in politics.
If Trump bloodies himself enough by March, DeSantis just might be the “serious candidate” for many.
Nikki Haley
Former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley is a very popular figure to many Republicans. And she has already said she is mulling a run.
The rest of the field are not very serious as candidates, but they have expressed an interest.
Mike Pence
The former Indiana Governor and vice president under Donald Trump has been laying the ground work for a bid for the White House since he left the vice presidency.
He may excite the monied class, but the rank and file really have little interest in him.
Mike Pompeo
The former Secretary of State under Trump has also said that he and his wife are considering a run. His announcement will bring crickets.
Larry Hogan
This fool will run as the “crossover” candidate who will be “able” to get votes from both sides of the aisle. The soon-to-be former Maryland governor is a left-winger. He won’t get a single conservative vote.
Asa Hutchinson
Outgoing Gov. Hutchinson has also said he is about to put his hat in the ring. Most voters will say “Asa who”?
… finally…
The biggest fool of the pack is Liz Cheney
Loser Liz has been making noise about running for president. If she does, it will be a campaign that will further beclown this traitorous loser.
