Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) recently came loaded for bear against a biased, left-wing reporter on NBC and the results are must see TV.
The Sen. was set to be interviewed by leftist Mark Maxwell, the so-called “political editor” of NBC-affiliate KSDK-TV. But Hawley didn’t come to play games. He accused Maxwell of biased leftism, them brought the proof!
“I gotta ask ya, why all the hate for people who like free speech on Twitter? What’s going on with that?” Hawley started out.
Typically, Maxwell feigned ignorance. But Hawley read the evidence seen in a tweet that Maxwell posted about supporters of Elon Musk.
“You called people who liked Elon Musk buying the site Twitter a bunch of ‘boot-lickers.’ This was on March 6. I’m looking at it right here. Seems kind of vitriolic,” Hawley told Maxwell.
Oopsies…
LOL: Senator @HawleyMO confronts left wing reporter who had an VERY public meltdown about @elonmusk.

“Yeah, I suppose it was. That was a moment of frustration when the site went down and there were a lot of folks in my mentions who have quite the cultish adoration for him,” Maxwell responded trying to justify his bias and attack on people’s First Amendment rights.
Hawley had more. He brought up another tweet that Maxwell posted in which he called Musk’s fans religious zealots that “worship” the businessman. Then suggested he was drunk while tweeting the name calling.
“I hope you do our interview sober,” Hawley told him. “I hope you’re sober now.”
Maxwell tried to claim the tweet was “satire.”
“When journalists or so-called journalists refer to people they don’t like as ‘boot-lickers’ on a public platform, when they attack folks and then say they don’t necessarily do stuff sober, it does tend to get my attention,” Hawley added pointedly. “I mean, we give you a lot of access. I just want to make sure that you’re actually sober and taking this seriously, good lord in heaven.”
Hawley was ready. And MORE Republicans should emulate that.
Shockingly (OK, that is sarcasm) after the interview Maxwell deleted all the tweets mentioned by Hawley.
But this is the way it is. These so-called “reporters” are not reporters at all. They are members of the left-wing establishment who use their positions to push the Democrat agenda.
