Fewer Americans every month are confident in Biden’s handling of the border crisis and the flood of illegals streaming across our border with no controls whatever.
A new Gallup poll (and remember, Gallup is a left-wing outfit) finds that only 28 percent of respondents are satisfied with Biden’s handling of the border.
63% of Americans are dissatisfied with immigration levels, the poll found. Further, 64 percent said they want to reduce the level of immigration, while a tiny 8 percent said that immigration needs to be increased.
Both Democrats and Republicans are dissatisfied with current immigration polices, but — unsurprisingly — Republicans are far more negative on the topic.
The percentage of Republicans dissatisfied with immigration levels for being too high jumped from 40% in 2021 to 69% in 2022 and remains about the same today, at 71%.
The percentage of Democrats dissatisfied and desiring less immigration was nearly nonexistent in 2021, at 2%, before rising to 11% last year and 19% now.
Independents’ dissatisfaction and preference for less immigration has about doubled since 2021, rising from 19% at that time to 36% today.
At 52 percent, Democrats said they want the level of immigration to remain where it is (but not increase), whereas 14 percent of Republicans said current levels are good and 39 percent of independents said today’s numbers are good.
Illegal immigration will likely be one of the biggest issues for the coming 2024 presidential election cycle.
