Only a month away from election day, you’d think they’d be checking their work before posting it.
Brandon Herrera, known on YouTube as the AK-Guy, is running for Congress.
His opponent, meanwhile, is showing the world that taking cheap shots at an opponent is easy, but for some Democrats, reading is hard.
It all started with a video in which Brandon was mocking the contents of a very famous political book. And we’ve all seen how disreputable political smear merchants can be. You isolate some aspect of a video, a statement, or a moment, strip of any context, and build a completely unrelated story around it to attack the opponent. One of the most enduring examples is the ‘very fine people’ hoax. But it happens on a smaller scale all the time.
They found a video of Brandon holding up a particular book while mocking the contents. Anything he had to say about the book in question was of no interest to them, so they took a screenshot and attacked him for having a copy of Mein Kampf.

This is one of those stories where the details matter. Look closely at the book he’s holding. The one he was mocking in his video. It was NOT, in fact, Mein Kampf. He was holding another book.

Geez. Seeing as the entire Democrat party is running headlong off the cliff on the far left, you might think she would recognize the Communist Manifesto. It’s only the book on which their bad ideas find their headwaters.
Nope.
All they really had to do was zoom in and look at the title.
Couldn’t do that, either.
The exact low-effort smear campaign she tried to leverage to rage-bait rabid Democrat supporters in a fundraising effort was deleted when it was exposed for the cynically stupid smear attempt it was. And the last laugh goes to Herrara.

But we’re supposed to trust them to micromanage every detail of our lives in the big government model they love so much.
Seems like a GREAT idea. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?
